All our products are made in Kent from UK-grown, fully FSC certified sweet chestnut. None of our timber is chemically treated
Chestnut Posts
The tannins in sweet chestnut wood means these posts last well in the ground, even though untreated. We produce a full range of chestnut posts and stakes, from small planting stakes to strainers and gate posts, as well as fencing posts designed for post and wire fencing.
- Top diameters from 5 – 35cm
- Up to 3.6 metres long
- Can be made to custom lengths if required
- With points or blank
- With bark on or off
- As full rounds or cleft posts
- Fulfils requirements for FG1 and FG2 Countryside Stewardship options
